Revised Music

I'm a young aspiring music reviewer.
I'll most likely blog about artists I'm currently listing to.
I like mostly all music, but I'm more alternative then anything.
Bare with my reviews for I am new to this.
Enjoy :)

Aaron Bruno - Owolnation

Awolnation

Short Background:

Aaron Bruno started his first band in 02-04, called Hometown Hero. After a short break, the band changed its name to Under The Influence of Giants (UTIOF) in 05 and continued to play until 2008 when they split. Or as some people say, “on hiatus”.

Awolnation:

An American Alternative Indie-rock solo band.

Bruno, continued to pursue the music career and released his first EP, AWOLNATION relased in May 18th, 2010. Recently, Bruno released his debut album Megalithic Symphony on March 15th, 2011.

Fact:

The name AWOLNATION was Bruno’s nickname in high school; meaning, “would leave without saying goodbye because it was just easier, so that’s where the name Awol came from.” An interview from lamusicblog.com

Constant Mind Melodies

Here is the top three songs I can’t stop listing to this week:

  1. Helena Beat - Foster the People
  2. She’s So Up - The Knux
  3. Love Out of Lust - Lykke Li

Helena Beat - If you like MGMT, Passion Pit, Peter Bjorn and John tunes, this is a song not to let you down.

She’s So Up - Alternative Hip-Hop + Catchy Up-beat Rock Rhythm = You’ll be sing and strutting your stuff in no time.

Love Out of Lust - An excellent song to stroll the park, sit and think, or fall asleep to. Harmonic instruments and soft echoed voice(s) make this an easy listen.
